Meet Carlin,

After payment, your lesson date and time is locked in.

1. You will receive an email verification with a link to click when it is time for your lesson.

2. You will receive a video recording of every lesson that will live inside your lessons account forever. With the recording, you can remember and put into practice the coaching you receive during your lesson!

My YouTube lessons give you ideas to explore. Private lessons give you direct access to me and feedback on YOUR playing. I can hear your timing, check your technique, answer your questions, and help you understand what to practice next. You can also bring something from one of my videos that you’d like help learning.

Yes! Whether you’re picking up sticks for the first time or you’re an experienced drummer looking to grow, your lessons are built around your current ability, goals, and musical interests.

Absolutely! I teach kids and adults. Lessons for younger students focus on building a strong foundation, developing coordination and rhythm, and making music fun. If you’re unsure whether your child is ready, contact me before booking so we can discuss their needs.

All lessons take place online. You’ll need a reliable internet connection, a device with a camera and microphone, and a space where you can comfortably play. A drum kit is helpful, but a practice pad and sticks can work for lessons focused on hand technique and fundamentals. Test your setup before your session so we can spend our time learning.

A 30-minute lesson is great for a specific question, a focused skill, or a younger student who benefits from a shorter session. A 60-minute lesson gives us more time to assess your playing, explore concepts, and apply them to music. Choose the length that fits your goals and attention span.

Yes! Bring a song, a challenging fill, or music you’re preparing for church, an audition, a recording, or a gig. We can break it down and work on playing it with confidence.

Absolutely. You don’t have to arrive with a lesson plan. If you’re unsure where to start, we can assess your playing, identify areas that need attention, and set practical priorities.

Weekly lessons provide regular feedback and structure. Every other week gives you more time to practice between sessions. Occasional lessons can also help you work through specific challenges. We can discuss a schedule that fits your goals, time, and budget.

Yes! Your session can focus on those topics. SImply let me know what you want help with so we can use the time to address your questions and develop practical next steps.
